Terms of Service
Effective June 9, 2026
The service
Déclic is a learn-by-doing photography app: lessons organized as skill trees, proven with photos you take yourself, with an AI guide (Iris) to help along the way. By creating an account you agree to these terms and the privacy policy.
Your account
Use a real email, keep your password to yourself, and let us know if you think someone else has gotten into your account. You need to be at least 13 to use the service. You’re responsible for what happens under your sign-in.
Your photos stay yours
You keep every right to the photos you upload. You grant us only the narrow license needed to run the app: storing your photos, showing them back to you inside your account, and — only when you ask Iris about a photo — sending it to our AI provider to generate her feedback. We don’t use your photos for anything else, and the license ends when you delete them or your account.
Acceptable use
Upload only photos you took or have the right to use, and nothing unlawful. Don’t abuse the service: no attempting to access other people’s data, no probing for vulnerabilities, and no automated hammering of the app or of Iris — rate limits exist and apply to everyone.
Free and paid
The app is free, with a daily cap on Iris messages. A paid plan (Pro) may be offered with its price always shown clearly before any charge — you will never be charged without explicitly signing up for it.
The honest fine print
The service is provided as-is, without warranties; features and limits may evolve as the app grows. To the maximum extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you’ve paid us — which, on the free plan, is nothing. Nothing here limits rights the law says can’t be limited.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time from your profile — it removes everything, immediately. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
Changes
If these terms change meaningfully, we’ll flag it on the site. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
